Thanks for inquiring about Art Classes and Workshops.
The basic information is simple – Talent, I believe, is knowledge plus persistence toward reaching the goal of making beautiful images: Artwork! So we jump right in and make stuff.
Learning to draw, composition, color theory, and lots of materials and techniques lead to the knowledge part; adding the work of learning to see as an artist sees and applying your newfound knowledge persistently leads to — Voila! Beautiful, expressive works of art.
Pricing for Drawing and Painting Classes in the Round Rock studio:
- One-Hour Drawing and Painting Sessions:
$18 per hour, once a week; 4 one-hour classes are $72 per month - Three-Hour Drawing and Painting Sessions:
$30 per session; 4 three-hour sessions are $120 per month
10% discount for siblings. Make-up classes may be arranged in the same month.
Classes at my Round Rock studio are small, limited to 5 students to maximize individual attention. The comfortable air conditioned studios are filled with natural light and surrounded by plenty of open-air space for plein aire painting. Easels and tables are provided. I am happy to provide students with a complete supply list so that materials may be purchased for longtime use.
Classes at the Round Rock studio are held on:
- Wednesday, 10-1
- Thursday, 10-1
- Friday, 10-1
Other locations:
- Lake Austin Spa Resort on Sunday evenings
